Are you sharing too much?

How far do you go?

What I mean is, how much should you share on social media?

Many people share TMI (have you seen what Brittney Spears was posting on Instagram before she abruptly deleted her account yesterday?)

It can be tempting to post as much content as possible in an effort to break through the noise.

There’s nothing like the dopamine hit you get when your post goes crazy.

As I scroll through Facebook and Instagram, I see an endless stream of food pics and gym workouts.

Does posting food pics or workouts generate business for you?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Let’s say you’re looking to hire someone to run Facebook ads.

You’ve narrowed your choice down to two people.

Both are well qualified and have a great reputation.

Agency owner A posts daily pictures of their workouts, travel to exotic locations, food pics, and family photos.

Agency owner B shares business-related content but never shares personal information.

Does sharing personal information make them more qualified to run Facebook ads?

Probably not.
