How NOT to Win Friends and Influence People

Go ahead.

Make fun of me, help.

I still think How to Win Friends and Influence People is one of the best books ever.

Yes, it’s old.

So am I.

But the lessons learned are timeless and more relevant than ever.

Why?

We’ve turned into a rude, self-centered society.

Take a look at your LinkedIn invitations.

Read a few out loud.

How do you feel?

Do you feel like they sincerely want to connect with you?

Or are they trying to sell you something you don’t need?

How many times did they say “I”?

How many times did they say “you”?

Read YOUR LinkedIn messages out loud.

I dare you.

How do you feel now?

How do you think people feel when you send messages like that?

Is this the impression you want to make?

(I’m just full of questions today aren’t I? LOL)

Now you know why everyone needs to read How to Win Friends and Influence People.

I read it once a year.

I send it to my new clients.

If you haven’t read it, put it on your Christmas list (or become a client!).

You’ll thank me later.
