How to stop saying YES to everything

Ted Prodromou

I have a problem.

I have a hard time saying “No” when people ask for help.

I help them even if I don’t get paid.

If you can convince me it’s worth my time and effort, I may say YES.

In the book Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less, Greg McKeown has a great litmus test.

If the opportunity makes you say “HELL YES” then it’s a go.

Otherwise, the answer is NO.

What do you need to say NO to?
