Is this the end of Twitter?

Meta’s answer to Twitter was released yesterday afternoon.

Threads now has over 30 million members.

Of course, I jumped on board to check it out because that’s what I do (my wife still doesn’t know what I’ve been doing for the past 20 years because she doesn’t understand marketing and has no desire to learn).

I was one of the first LinkedIn members.

I jumped on the Twitter bandwagon in the first week.

I was a member of Friendster, Google Plus, and Vine (remember those?)

I was also an early adopter of Clubhouse.

Will Threads thrive or join the social media graveyard?

Threads uses your Instagram login and network so you can quickly build a large following.

Leveraging 2 billion Instagram users will help Threads build a large user base.

Last night people were excited on Threads.

GaryVee, Mark Cuban, and other thought leaders were very active.

Exploring a new social network is an interesting experience as we’re all trying to figure it out.

Comments and posts were positive.

The trolls haven’t arrived yet.
