A Facebook memory popped up yesterday that I have to share with you.

This guy said he does Amazon SEO.

I wanted to learn more since Ultimate Guide to LinkedIn for Business Third Edition was about to be released.

Here’s our unedited conversation (sorry for the offensive content).

Him: I can tell that being 36 years old…I have the business savvy with the technical know-how…I’ve ran this virtual business for 12 years plus now…I’ve been making a living online…so…I think there’s much to learn.

Me: I’ve been marketing since 2002 after spending over 20 years in the tech world.

Him: I know Ted…but your, what 50+ when you where a kid you played with swords and guns made of wood…while I made my first website when I was 11…so…online is kinda a new thing to you…

I don’t trust people in their 50’s who say they are SEO experts…let’s be honest it’s unusual.

Me: I was doing SEO before Google was a thing. I don’t need to prove myself to anyone.
