This totally changed our minds

Going on a cruise with 7,600 of our closest friends was never on our bucket list.

Ellen and I dreaded the idea of getting on a ship for a week or two with thousands of people.

There’s no escaping the crowd.

Our perfect vacation is relaxing at the beach or hiking in the mountains.

A few years ago, some of our friends, who aren’t into cruises, did a river cruise and couldn’t stop raving about it.

Small crowds, bucket list destinations, and lots of time to roam off the ship.

We took the plunge and just returned from our second European river cruise.

The accommodations were very comfortable.

The food was off the charts.

The activities and excursions off the boat were well-planned.

What made the cruise so amazing that we invited 10 people on our latest cruise?

Viking creates amazing experiences.

It all started when we talked with our cruise coordinator, Paul.

He was very professional and extremely helpful.

He not only told us what to do on the cruise…

…he told us what not to do.

He told us to travel with the river current so the ride would be smoother and we would get more time off the boat since we traveled faster.

Every aspect of the trip was well planned and executed by the Viking staff.

The experience was incredible.

So incredible that we convinced our friends to join us on the trip from Basel to Amsterdam.

Today, it’s not enough to have a great product and great service.

You need to create an experience to engage your prospects.

Think about the experience you have when walking into an Apple store or Starbucks.

How did you feel the last time you went to Disneyland?
